COMPREHENSIVE ATLAS OF SURGICAL TECHNIQUES
The gastric resection and D2 lymhatic dissection follow the previously decribed steps.
The distal part of the jejunal loop is brought to the gastric stump and anastomosed to its lateral border. The Roux-en-Y reconstruction is performed 60cm beyond the gastroenteroanastomosis.
The abdomen is closed. A Jackson-Pratt drain is not necessarily useful.
